April 12, 2009 - Easter Sunday

Our day started out quite early. We met for Sunrise Services before 7:00. That's not real easy for old folks, but we did it.

After the Services, we came home and spent a bit of time in the yard. We went to eat dinner with our daughter, son-in-law and grand-children. The afternoon was spent watching The Masters.

Didn't take any time to edit and/or crop these pics....These are the real thing!

6:40 a.m. - Sunrise as we are about to leave the house for Services.

6:40 a.m. - I turned around and caught the picture of the moon setting.
8:00 a.m. - Our Climatis burst into bloom for us this Easter.
8:15 a.m. - Augusta National doesn't have anything on us, as you can see in the following pictures, we have Azaleas, too.

More Azaleas!
Still more Azaleas.
8:35 a.m. - An Iris blooming in our side yard.
8:40 a.m. - Our first Rose. Tomorrow it will be in a bud vase on Diane's desk.
1:o5 p.m. - Amy's table is being readied for an Easter Feast.

1:50 p.m. - Getting ready to settle down and watch the Master's
Tournament. CBS is doing a special on Seve Ballesteros, the past
champion who is battling brain cancer.

3:15 p.m. - The grand children gave Diane and I an
Easter Basket.
8:15 p.m. - Diane and I just may settle down with a flick from
NetFlix....."The Devil Wears Prada"

Thanks for taking the time to share our day in pictures. We had a
wonderful day and we hope yours went well, too.

I like the azalea photos. I wish more flowers were blooming in my garden but alas we have began our fall season here in the land down under so everything is starting to go to sleep. Thanks for sharing.

Nice flower shots....sure wish my Clematis were ready to bloom. Tulsa has tons of azaleas in bloom, which made house hunting most enjoyable. Looks like you had a great day!
